As such, the fund avoids all general obligation issues, which are backed by the taxing power of its issuers, and only holds bonds tied to revenues from specific infrastructure projects. This has the dual effect of increasing the fund`s interest rate and credit risk exposure relative to the broad muni market. None of RVNU's bonds mature in less than ten years. Investors should be conscious of the funds portfolio, as some states like Texas, New York and Massachusetts might make up a sizeable portion of it.
