The fund aims to deliver income by primarily selling put options on broad equity indices including other ETFs. About 70% of the funds exposure is allocated to North American equities. The fund manager also enters into systematic put selling strategies through the use of derivatives such as swaps. The fund may also hold cash, money market instruments, and fixed income securities for cash management. It may also engage in short selling, as permitted by Canadian laws. The fund may also generate additional income through lending, repurchase, and reverse repurchase transactions.
